Olivier Van Horenbeeck

Founder & Managing Partner

Oversees strategic public affairs and communications efforts on behalf of a wide range of corporations, trade associations and issue coalitions. Always stays grounded in the fast-evolving theory of advocacy and tactics in a dynamic and global entrepreneurial context. Uses his decade-plus experience in public affairs and communications to help his clients improve theirs. Strategy and tactics are not one and the same.

Graduated Cum Laude as Master of Law from Antwerp University, has a master’s degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics and pursued an Executive MBA while working at a financial institution during the financial crisis. Olivier traded banking for beer when looking for a challenge with more liquidity.

Learned the ins and outs of public affairs while at organizations such as BNP Paribas Fortis, Anheuser-Busch InBev and VOKA, Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, Olivier founded his first company: a boutique executive search firm.

Has more than a decade of experience in highly regulated industries with controversial policy issues and critical media scrutiny. Member of several Advisory Boards.

Olivier is an avid fan of world music, Italian wine, and football club Beerschot. Spends nights and weekends chasing his two boys around the house. Loves to read non-fiction (from Dale Carnegie to Adam Grant) and is always searching for that ever-elusive balance between gastronomy, running and cycling.

"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently." (Warren Buffett)
